Cooper has been trying to keep up with his sister at the local parks.  Unfortunately this means he has been getting more than his fare share of bruises.  His favorite park toy by far is the swing, which he can’t get enough of.

He had a great time visiting with grandma Nita and grandpa Bill in Portland.  As always, he loves that “center of attention feeling” that only comes from grandparents.  While visiting he mastered climbing down their staircase.

Cooper had a great time visiting the Oregon coast.  He loved the sand, playing with it, rolling around in it, and trying to eat it.  The highlight of his costal experience was flying a kite.

Cooper Owen was born May 8th at 11:35am

We have a healthy baby boy to add to our family!  Elaine and I have been incredibly fortunate!  Labor and delivery went well.  Elaine was in labor for a quick and easy 11 hours (easy for me to say) before delivering 7 pound 12 ounce 20 inch Cooper Owen.  We couldn't be more thrilled!

It is hard to believe that he is now a year old.  He is growing up so fast!
